Bubble Days at the Maryland Science Center

Voyages: Chapter 7 at the National Aquarium
Experience an exploration of art and science with an immersive series that inspires connection to nature and celebrates local art in Baltimore. The National Aquarium is excited to welcome Submersive Productions, a Baltimore-based collaborative artworks company, as the featured artist for Voyages: Chapter 7!

Music Under the Dome: Grateful Dead
Cruise the cosmos in an immersive planetarium experience featuring the trippiest in-house curated imagery set the to the tunes of the good ol’ Grateful Dead. Uniquely developed to compliment the Dead’s American Beauty album, and only available at the Maryland Science Center—this show’s got everything delightful and everything you need. Check in early and enjoy a complimentary happy hour, complete with adult beverages, special science demonstrations, and access to select exhibits.

National Ice Cream Day at Port Discovery

Dream Big, Play More: Summer Camp
Get ready for a Summer of Fun at Port Discovery! Each week features a new exciting theme for kids PreK-3rd grade, with hands-on STEAM activities, creative arts workshops, and interactive play across three floors of museum fun. Every day brings a fresh adventure! The camp program runs from July 28th to August 22nd from 9:00am to 4:00pm.

10th Annual B'more SUP Cup
Bmore SUP is celebrating their 10th Annual B'More SUP Cup in 2025! This is the first time any SUP race has been held on the Inner Harbor. Join together as one big paddle community and show Baltimore what this sport is all about. All types of paddle craft are welcome (not just standup paddle boards). Stay after the race for a fun-filled after party.

Mess Fest at Maryland Science Center
The Maryland Science Center is packing the most mucky, slimy, sticky, sloppy science into a weekend-long celebration! The annual Mess Fest returns on Saturday and Sunday, August 16 & 17. Grab a brush and dip into your favorite color of paint to leave your messy mark on the Science Center’s window mural. Send the slop skyward with colorful rockets powered by fizz. Dig your hands into some goopy mixtures in the Slime Room.

Play It Safe at Port Discovery
Get ready to Play It Safe! Port Discovery is teaming up with community partners to make safety fun and engaging for families. You’ll explore how to keep everyone safe while having a blast this summer. Kids will be able to take part in an interactive Safety Town, where they’ll learn about traffic safety and discover cool gear to stay protected.
Plus, don’t miss Peake, the adorable Chesapeake Bay Retriever (pup)pet, whose ready to join in on the excitement and teach kids how to stay safe and healthy while playing and having fun outside. Let’s play it safe and have a great time together this summer!

Domino Day at the Maryland Science Center
Domino Day, presented by Domino Sugar, is back on Saturday, June 28. This year the domino display will form a mesmerizing variety of patterns and effects all centered around the theme: Around the World in 80 Days. The big topple will take place at 2:00pm, but come early to watch the builders complete the finishing touches, test a few designs of your own making, and learn how to build domino tricks that will have you toppling like a pro.

Sunset & SUP Vibez: Boat Cruise and Sunset Paddle
Vibe & Wave Charters x B’More SUP Presents: Sunset & SUP Vibez! A boat Cruise from the Baltimore Inner Harbor to Baltimore Yacht Basin. Whether you decide to enjoy the sunset aboard the Honey Lemon Pepper or on paddle boards provided by B’More SUP, you’re sure to have an incredible time. Instructors will be available at this event, so no paddleboard experience is required.

Orioles Pride Night
The Baltimore Orioles will celebrate "Pride Night" on June 25 when the Birds face off against the Texas Rangers. The first 15,000 fans in attendance for the 6:35 p.m. game will receive an Orioles pride jersey. Gates open at 5:30 p.m.

Maryland Science Center's 48th Annual Solstice Gala
Join the party and support the mission to inspire, empower, and engage. Dress to impress and celebrate with exciting science demonstrations, live music, food and drink! Mingle and explore the museum’s three levels of hands-on interactive exhibits. Solstice is for ages 21+ only. Funds raised through Solstice support free admission for all Maryland school children and their teachers who visit as part of a field trip during the upcoming school year. Solstice also funds our outreach programs—Traveling Science Program, Ready Set Go Science, and Family Science and Family Engineering Nights.

Produced by the incomparable Dapper Dan Midas, aka DDm, Pride on the Waterfront kicks off the season with a bold celebration of queer joy, artistry, and culture. This show-stopping lineup features The Club Car Baltimore Presents: All Aboard Drag Hour, the underground glam of Kotic Couture and Stealya-manz, infectious beats from DJ 7oey and DJ DNyce, and a soulful set from JPope and the Hear Now. Bmore Girly Morning Market
Bmore Girly is bringing a sensational Saturday morning market to the Renaissance. Right across the street from the kickoff of the 2025 Baltimore by Baltimore festival series, enjoy an amazing lineup of vendors, fun drinks and snacks at the Ground Floor Cafe and Bar.

Never Early Fest 2025
Never Early Fest is an all-day celebration of music, creativity, and culture taking over Power Plant Live! Featuring performances across five epic stages and spaces, this high-energy festival will showcase a stacked lineup of international, national, and local original artists. But that’s not all! Explore a curated mix of local food vendors, clothing & apparel boutiques, and arts & crafts pop-ups.

Music Under the Dome: David Bowie
Sit back, relax, and blast off to the far reaches of the galaxy with Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars! Freak out in a moonage daydream at the planetarium while you zoom through the cosmos. Sing along all the way to Suffragette City and boogie among the constellations—’cause you know it’s all worth while.

Farewell and Fair Winds: Pride of Baltimore II Sets Sail
On May 30, 2025, Maryland’s iconic tall ship and official sailing ambassador, Pride of Baltimore II, will embark on a multi-month voyage across all five Great Lakes and participate in Tall Ships America’s Tall Ships Challenge®. The public is invited to a special dockside event to send her off in true Maryland style.
Join the crew on the Baltimore waterfront for ceremony and community pride as we bid farewell and fair winds to Pride of Baltimore II. The program will feature remarks from local and state leaders, followed by a dockside send-off as the ship sets sail—rain or shine!

Sunday Pier Pressure Party Cruise
Cruise into Memorial Day at an unforgettable yacht party! Spend your Sunday night partying on the water with the picturesque Baltimore skyline as your backdrop. Bring your whole crew along to dance the night away to tracks spun by a live DJ, sip on craft cocktails, and take in the waterfront views from any of the three spacious decks onboard.

Artscape Weekend at Port Discovery
On May 24th and 25th, enjoy discounted admission to the museum with $10 per person and extend your Artscape experience with hands-on, art-focused activities at Port Discovery, just ten minutes away from Kidscape!

Maryland Deathfest
Baltimore’s annual extreme metal music festival is returning to Power Plant Live! Get ready for 4 days of head banging with an incredible line up of 100 different bands, special sets from iconic metal bands, and more.

Sensory Friendly Sunday
Port Discovery’s Sensory Friendly Mornings provide Museum access to families who would benefit from a sensory friendly experience and quieter setting at Port Discovery two hours before opening to the general public. Designed to provide an opportunity to enjoy the Port Discovery experience in a sensory modified setting there will be limited admission and sound and lighting adjustments. Sensory Friendly Mornings will include open-play opportunities throughout the Museum. No proof of qualification will be required.

Come play and learn while exploring Port Discovery’s three floors of open play areas including The SkyClimber, The Port, Tiny’s Diner, Wonders of Water, and more! Plus, stop by some educational drop-in activities created by Port Discovery’s Education Specialists.
